Please put Breakfast and your name in the message field so the Treasurer can match your payment to your registration.

At the door

Cash or cheque

Cheques payable to the Interfaith Council of Halton. Registering in advance still helps us confirm catering numbers.

One caution. This is the only e-transfer address we use, and it is on our own domain — interfaithcouncilhalton.com. The Council will never ask you to send payment to a different address, and never to a personal Gmail or other free account. If you receive such a message, it did not come from us — please tell us through the contact form.

What we do with what you send us

We use what you send us to confirm your place and plan the morning — nothing else. We keep it until you ask us to delete it, and we never sell it, pass it on or add you to a mailing list without asking you first.

What we ask for, and why

  • Your name and email address — to confirm your place and send you the details.
  • A telephone number, if you give one — in case something changes on the day.
  • How many people you are registering — to tell the caterer how many to expect.
  • Your faith community or organisation, if you give one — so we know who is coming — never published, never counted publicly.
  • Dietary requirements and allergies — passed to the caterer so there is food you can eat.
  • Accessibility needs — so the room is set up before you arrive.

Who can see it

Members of the Council’s executive, and no one else. It is not sold, not shared with other organisations, and not used to send you anything you did not ask for.

The caterer and the venue

Dietary requirements, allergies and accessibility needs are passed to the caterer and to the venue, because that is the only way they can be met. Nothing else about you goes with them, and they are not permitted to keep it or use it for anything else.

How long we keep it

Until you ask us to delete it. We would rather say that plainly than name a period we would not actually keep to. Submissions are stored on our own website and in the Council’s interfaithcouncilhalton.com mailbox.

How to have it removed

Ask us, and we will delete it. Write to info@interfaithcouncilhalton.com or send a note through the contact form saying you would like what you sent removed. You do not have to give a reason. We will delete it and tell you once it is done. You can also ask us what we hold about you, and we will tell you that too.

Spam protection

We do not keep your IP address with your message. To stop automated spam, the form notes when a message was sent and briefly counts repeat submissions from the same connection using a scrambled form of the address, which is discarded within the hour.
